Welcome!

Our congregational theme for 2025 is "One." The enemy is constantly trying to sow discord in the world, but we know that God's will is for His people to be one (John 17:21) and that in Christ Jesus, God began the process of reconciling the world unto Himself (2 Corinthians 5:19).
As we explore this theme throughout the year, we will look at it from four different angles:
1. One God (Deuteronomy 6:4)
2. One Table (1 Corinthians 10:16-33)
3. One Mind (1 Corinthians 1:10, Philippians 2:2)
4. One Purpose (Philippians 3:13)
This theme will help shape the preaching during our Sunday morning worship times, and it is our prayer that the message is taken outside the building as each member seeks to live it out in everyday life.

What We Believe
At Mid-County, we make it our aim to follow the teachings of the Bible in all we do . Our desire is to follow the example of Christ and the church He established on Pentecost. We seek to follow His teachings and the teaching of His apostles with regard to how we are saved from our sins, how we worship, how the church is organized and led, how we live our daily lives, and the mission He left us in the Great Commission (Mt. 28:18-20): "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
We believe we are saved from our sins and added to His church when we do the following:
1) Hear about Jesus through preaching, or by reading/studying His Word. (Jn. 6:44-45, Rom. 10:17)
2) Believe what God's Word says about our sins, how God sent Jesus to save us from those sins, and what we must do to make Him Lord of our lives, and for His blood to cleanse us from our sins. (Heb. 11:6, Mk. 16:15-16, Jn. 3:16)
3) Repent of our sins -- this just means we allow God's Word and Christ's love to change our lives, turning us from our old way of life to following Him. (Ac. 2:38,
Ac. 17:30, Lk. 13:3)
4) Confess publicly that we believe Christ is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, and that we wish to turn from living for ourselves to living for Him.
(Mt. 10:32-33, Rom. 10:10)
5) Are baptized (immersed) in water to reenact the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and to allow His blood (shed in His death) to cleanse us from sin.
(Mt. 28:19, Rom. 6:3-18, 1 Cor. 12:13, Col. 2:11-14, 1 Pet. 3:21)
6) Live a new life in Christ -- our life in Christ just begins with our baptism! We must continue to follow Him in all we do, asking His help and forgiveness when we fall short of His will. (1 Jn. 1:7-9, Rev. 2:10)
