Wednesday Announcements 9/13/2023

  • Volunteers are needed to help @ ReClaimed (DRT’s thrift store) while they are working in Georgia. There will be an employee running the cash register. They need someone to help fill a few shifts so she is not alone. Please see the involvement Station for more information. DRT needs to know who will be able to assist by September 16th.

  •  Ladies! The retreat will be Friday and Saturday the 15th & 16th. All ladies are welcome to join even if you aren’t spending the night. Please see Kim Card if you would like to go.  The address for the retreat is WRONG on the registration form. THE CORRECT ADDRESS IS 2535 St. Rt. 48 Ludlow Falls 45339.

  •  There will be a Men’s Breakfast here at the building on Saturday September 16th @ 9:00 A.M. Please see the signup sheet on the table in the foyer if you plan to attend. See Derrick Smith if you have questions.

  •  Care Groups will begin Sunday September 17th. Please see the Signup sheets at the involvement station for more information.

  •  We will start taking photos for the new directory September 17th after morning worship! We will continue to take photos after morning worship each Sunday until October 15th. 

  •  Golden Climbers will meet September 19th @ 5:00 P.M. here at the building. There is a signup sheet on the table in the foyer. See the Caruthers if you have questions.

  •  The Ladies Prayer Group will meet September 21st @ 6:00 P.M. at the home of Nancy Collins. Please bring a light refreshment to share if convenient. Nancy will be making soup.

  • September 24th —Potluck & Wedding Shower after morning services for Carley Marple and Noah Carman. She is registered on Amazon. If you would like to contribute to the group gift see Cheryl Heffner or Jeanie Cole.

  • The Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be Sunday November 19th at 5:30 P.M. Please note this change from previous years. It will be on a SUNDAY this year to better accommodate volunteers and participants with a full-time job.

  • Anyone who would like to contribute to the shipping cost of our 220 MAGI boxes, please see Olive Wagar by October 1st. The Cost is $7/box.

  • Our Community Coat Give Away is October 7th! If you have any gently used coats, hats, gloves, & scarves that you would like to donate please bring them to the building!
