  • Collecting Aluminum can tabs: Our children are collecting aluminum can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Dayton.

  • “For those participating in the 20-week Bible Memorization: This is the end of our 6th week of memorization. Please recite your memory verses & mark the number memorized on the tabulation sheet at the involvement table. Today begins the 7th week of memorization. The verses to start working on this coming week are:                        * Isaiah 55:8-9
           * Matthew 6:33-34
           * John 4:13-14
           * Philippians 1:21-22
           * II Timothy 2:14-15
    We have completed nearly one-third of the 100 verses thus far, and I encourage you to continue to the end, keeping your mind focused on Jesus.  Paul said in Colossians 3:1-2, “Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on the earth.” SET YOUR MINDS ON JESUS!
    Blessings, Randy

The library committee will be hosting a Library Open House on Sunday, October 4th, immediately after morning worship for any adults or teens who would like to learn more about the Mid-County adult library. You will be given a quick tour of the library and the many resources that you are welcome to borrow. You will learn what’s available in the library, what’s new, and how to use the library. The adult library is located in the room directly behind the children’s library in the back of the auditorium. If you have questions, please see a library committee member. (Althea, Eleanor, Tricia, Jeanne, or Amanda) This is also a great time to learn more about the children's library. Every child who checks out a book will receive a special surprise!
