- Please do not use the center stairs for several days while the glue dries. Use the 2 side stairwells to access the 2nd floor during this time.
- If anyone is interested in participating in the secret sister or brother program for college students & military members for the coming school year, please see Nancy Collins.
- If you would like some plastic hangers, there are some available on the coat rack. Whatever is not taken will be donated.
- If you have sewing thread you are no longer using, the Dorcas Ministry would appreciate it!
- New assistive listening devices are available for use during services!
- “For those participating in the 20-week Bible Memorization: This is the end of our 9th week of memorization. Please recite your memory verses & mark the number memorized on the tabulation sheet at the involvement table. Today begins the 10th week of memorization. The verses to start working on this coming week are: * Matthew 7:12
* Ephesians 4:1-3
* Philippians 2:3-4
* II Timothy 3:16-17
* I Peter 2:1-3
Charles H. Spurgeon, a famous English preacher in the mid-1800s, once spurred his followers to “Be walking Bibles”. Of course, he meant they should always have God’s Word at the ready as they shared their lives with new folks. Memorizing scriptures helps us comply with Peter’s instructions to “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (I Peter 3:15). Keep up your good work in memorizing!
