Sunday Announcements 10/25/26

  • Sign-up sheets for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner are now on the Involvement Station. Please consider how you can get involved.

  • Freezer meals are needed for Seeds of Hope. Please place your meals in the Church freezer by November 8th.

  • A new commercial carpet & LVP floor cleaner have been purchased for building use. Please do not remove them from the building for personal use.

  • “For those participating in the 20-week Bible Memorization: This is the end of our 12th week of memorization. Please recite your memory verses & mark the number memorized on the tabulation sheet at the involvement table. Today begins the 13th week of memorization. The verses to start working on this coming week are:                                                         * Matthew 11:28-30
                             * Ephesians 6:10-12
                             * Colossians 1:17-18
                             * Hebrews 11:6
                             *II Peter 1:20-21
    Memorizing scriptures is truly great, but the real value is to understand it’s meaning. Suzy Kassem, an American writer, once wrote, “Textbook intelligence is not true intelligence. It only marks a man good at memorization.” Take the next step: once memorized, then reflect, contemplate, and discern what the verse means. This is the point when God’s word starts “...penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit...” (Hebrews 4:12).
    Blessings, Randy
